Why does the alert show a daily budget when a lifetime budget is selected?

If the budget value in the DSP doesn't match the value shown in the alert, don't worry—this is completely normal. This value represents the daily equivalent of your lifetime budget, calculated by dividing the total budget by the number of days in your campaign.

In this article, we will explain how adnomaly calculates and displays daily budgets—even when you’ve set a lifetime budget—so you can better understand and interpret alerts.
Here's how it works:
Important: No matter whether you’ve set a daily or lifetime budget in the platform, the alert will always display the allocated budget on a daily basis.

When you set a lifetime budget, our system automatically divides the total campaign budget by the duration of the campaign. This calculation gives you the equivalent daily budget.

Imagine your lifetime campaign budget is €10,000 and the duration is 10 days, the alert will automatically display a value of 1.000,00 EUR / Day like in the example above.

⚠️ This allows our software to anticipate incorrect budgets while factoring in the flight period of your campaign.
